Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 April 2026

This page explains what information Thrive with Peace collects when you visit thrivewithpeace.com, how it is used, and the rights you have over it. Thrive with Peace is operated by Dr Peace Adaji, based in the United Kingdom. If you have any questions about this policy you can email info@thrivewithpeace.com.

Who we are

Thrive with Peace is a personal brand offering books, coaching, and resources for women navigating motherhood, career transitions, and faith. The site is run by Dr Peace Adaji as a sole trader in the UK. For the purposes of UK GDPR, Dr Peace Adaji is the data controller for any personal data collected through the site.

What we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us, plus a small amount of technical data that helps us run the site. In practice, that breaks down as follows.

How we use your data

We use personal data to deliver what you asked for and to improve the site over time. Specifically, that means replying to coaching applications and messages, sending the free resources you signed up for, sending the newsletter if you subscribed, and using analytics to understand which content is helping people and which is not landing. We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not pass it to advertisers.

Legal basis for processing

Under UK GDPR we rely on two legal bases. Most of the time it is your consent, which you give by filling in a form or accepting cookies. For coaching enquiries and order handling we also rely on contract or on the steps needed to enter into a contract with you. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@thrivewithpeace.com, or by unsubscribing from any newsletter via the link in the footer of the email.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site. Each one only receives the minimum data they need to do their job.

Where any provider transfers data outside the UK, the transfer is covered by standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

Newsletter subscribers are kept in Beehiiv until they unsubscribe. Coaching applications and contact messages are kept in the inbox for up to two years so we can follow up on long conversations. Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics under the default 14-month setting. You can ask us to delete any of this at any time.

Your rights

UK GDPR gives you the right to know what personal data we hold about you, to request a copy, to correct anything that is wrong, to have it deleted, to restrict how it is used, to object to processing, and to have it sent to another provider. If you want to exercise any of these rights, email info@thrivewithpeace.com and we will respond within one calendar month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk if you think we have handled your data badly.

Cookies

When you first visit the site, a small banner at the bottom of the screen asks whether you accept analytics cookies. If you accept, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies that help us measure traffic. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. Essential cookies that keep the site working are always on. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer.

Children

The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has signed up for something here, email us and we will delete the record.

Changes to this policy

If we update how we handle data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Substantial changes will be announced in the newsletter where practical.
